- Typical black slatepencils earthiness but with deep topsoil earthy. It’s like sand stones and topsoil together. Slate pencils are better then raw shale for some reason. Best enjoyed in wet form.
Slates tend to break during transit despite the bubble padded Envelope, to avoid breakage upgrade to box. We will not be refunding or replacing for any breakage.
